Bringing back the 90’s

The Paramount is bringing back the 90’s with the Under The Sun Tour with Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth & Gin Blossoms Featuring; Vertical Horizon & Fastball. Doors open at 7pm tomorrow, July 30!

Under the Sun will be performing in 36 cities nationwide all summer long. Gin Blossoms’ Jesse Valenzuela said, “If we don’t win the Nobel Peace Prize, we’re not gonna be amused!”  Gin Blossom is best known for their songs “As Long As It Matters,” “Hey Jealousy,” and “Follow you down.” The band continued to tour into the 2000’s after a short hiatus. They even gave back to the troops in 2010, putting on a five city tour in Kuwait. Gin Blossoms helped change the soound of rock music along with Smash Mouth and Sugar Ray.

1998’s Sexiest Rock Star, Mark McGrath will be making girls scream like they are teenagers again. He is the lead singer of Sugar Ray and has had multi-platinum albums. Their hit singles include “Someday,” “When It’s Over,” “Fly” and “Every Morning.” More than two decades later, McGrath continues to stay relevant. He has made appearances on shows such as Celebrity Apprentice and Don’t Forget the Lyrics!

No one can forget the lyrics to Smash Mouth’s rock anthems in the late 90’s; their hit singles include “All Stars,” “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby,” and “Then the Morning Comes.” Not only are they continuing to write music, but they even wrote a cookbook called “Recipes from the Road: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Cookbook.” The book features other recipes from celebrity chefs Guy Fieri and Michael Symon; rock star Sammy Hagar, and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Jerome Bettis.

Come to The Paramount tomorrow and party like 1998! Three of the 90’s best rock bands will be performing live and this is a concert you’ll regret missing. Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster or visit us at our box office.
