The Paramount Breaks a Sweat

Memorial Day Weekend marked the unofficial start of summer; while Jones Beach was swarming with people, some of us steered clear because we don’t have our “beach bodies” quite yet. If you’re anything like me you probably didn’t stay true to your New Year’s resolution of going to the gym. So to get you pumped for summer and feeling confident in a bathing-suit, here are a list of songs that should be on your workout playlist:

Yoga
 Heartbeats- Jose Gonzales
Yesterday was hard on all of us- Fink
Wish You Were Here- Sparklehorse & Thom York
Breathe Me- Sia
Let Go- Frou Frou

Running
Night of Your Life- David Guetta ft. Jennifer Hudson
Talk Dirty- Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz
Can’t Remember to Forget You- Shakira & Riahanna
#Selfie- Chainsmokers
Summer- Calvin Harris

Weight Lifting
Master of Puppets- Metallica
Till I collapse- Eminem
Back in Black-AC/DC
Swerve City- Deftones
Lift me Up- Five Finger Death Punch

Hiking & Walking
Sing- Ed Sheeran
Love Runs Out- One Republic
All Night- Icona Pop
Carried Away- Passion Pit
Come with me now- Kongos

Cool Down
I Choose You- Sara Bareilles
All of Me- John Legend
TKO- Justin Timberlake
Children of The Sun- Tinie Tempah ft. John Martin
Big Parade- The Lumineers

The cool down is the most important part of your workout; it consists of light exercises that help your body transition from working hard to resting and will help prevent injuries. We hope that these songs help motivate you while you’re working out and remember sweat is just fat crying!
