The Paramount is the first stop on the All Stars Tour this
Friday, July 19! 12 bands have been handpicked by Set 4 Lyfe and Sound Check
Hollywood to perform at this all-day event. From 3-11pm you will be an arm
length away from the bands you love. All summer long these 12 bands will be
taking over the All Stars Tour’s
Instagram and Facebook
page. Check out the photos and watch to
see how the bands are preparing for their kick-off show at The Paramount!
If you missed them back in March at Irving Plaza, here’s
your chance to see them on Long Island! Every Time I Die started out in the hardcore scene,
but over the years they have continued to push the boundaries of heavy music.
Vocalist Keith Buckley said, “I don’t think us doing anything different is a
surprise to Every Time I Die fans because one of the main reasons why a lot of
people have stuck by us for so long is because they know they can expect the
unexpected with each release.”
Chelsea Grin
started in high school inspired by Whitechapel, Emmure, and Job For A Cowboy. The
guys quickly made a name for themselves playing VFW Halls on the weekends and
releasing a debut EP that sold out at local retailers. Bass player David Flinn said, “We just
graduated from high school and started touring, it was like jumping from high
school to college in a van.” From Salt Lake City, Utah to big arenas across the
world, Chelsea Grin has become a must see band.
Veil of Maya
originally formed after melodic death metal band, Insurrection, broke-up
leading to members Marc Okubo and Sam Applebaum starting a new project.
Although members of the band have come and gone, the band continues to make
great music that fans can relate to.
California’s hardcore band Terror will be performing. Though the group consider
themselves a “hardcore” band, guitarist Doug Weber says Terror, “sounds like
all of the old metal bands I used to listen to. It’s just not crazy Swedish
metal or something, it sounds like old thrash.” Their albums have sold over
40,000 copies and they have toured throughout Europe, Australia, Brazil and
Japan.
What do Eddie Murphy, Lindsay Lohan, and Stray From the Path have in
common? They are all from Long Island is the answer. Stray From the Path have
been on tour with bands such as: Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Terror,
Norma Jean, Underoath, The Ghost Inside, For Today, Stick To Your Guns,
Bleeding Through, Backtrack, and Counterparts. They were also featured on the
All Stars Tour in 2012 and they were so amazing the first time that they are
performing again this year!
All the way from Sydney, Australia, Capture The Crown is thrilled to visit the
Paramount. They create music for their fans. They find great enjoyment in
making music that is meant to be fun and straight forward, something one can
easily move to and sing along with. The lyrics come from personal life
experiences and are written in a way so fans can relate.
Paramount is excited to welcome back IWRESTLEDABEARONCE. They are an experimental
extreme metal band from Shreveport, Louisiana. During Warped Tour 2012, it was
announced that vocalist Krysta Cameron had become pregnant and would have to
leave the band for the rest of the tour. She was replaced by Courtney LaPlante
of Unicron for the remainder of the tour. LaPlante has permanently replaced and
as of January 24, 2013 the band has been writing music for their third studio
album with LaPlante on vocals.
For All
Those Sleeping appeared on the widely-known Vans Warped Tour and
Cornerstone Festival all before releasing their debut EP “The Lies We Live” in
September of 2008. Their 2010 full-length debut landed at number 25 on the Billboard's
Heatseeker's Chart and #11 on the Alternative New Artist's Chart. This band has
proven their toughest critics wrong and they continue to win over fans.
Ice Nine
Kills was named after the ultimate weapon of mass destruction from the
Vonnegut novel, Cat’s Cradle. With
their raw emotion and aggression of post hardcore and metal, they create a
refreshing sound that both soothes and knocks-over their listeners. The band
utilizes multi textured guitar hooks, a dual vocals, and a rhythm section which
captures listeners within a few seconds of the song.
Shayley Dayshell former member of Mice & Men is
performing in the All Stars Tour in his new band, Dayshell. Shayley left Mice & Men due to depression
and alcoholism. Shayley didn’t return to the bad instead he teamed up with former
Covette members Jordan Wooley & Raul Martinez. Dayshell continues to create
new music and has the support of his fans to help him.
