Our inboxes are always filled with
all your suggestions as to whom you’d like to see at The Paramount, but after a
successful show we receive multiple emails asking one question. When are they
coming back? We have narrowed down the list to 4 acts we want back. These are
The Paramount’s Top 4 Most Wanted Back…now let’s hope they come!
Robin Thicke: A year after Robin Thicke performed at the Paramount
he has reached number one on the Billboard. He has written songs for Christina
Aguilera, Mary J Blige and Pink. Thicke’s hit single “Blurred Lines” featuring
T.I and Pharrell heated up this summer. In fact, it was just one of Thicke’s
summertime hits. Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” featuring Thicke quickly became reached
the top of the charts. Thicke has proven that whatever track he is on its sure
to be a hit!
Don Henley: It
has only been a couple of months, but we already want Don Henley to come back. Don
Henley’s band the Eagles had two top 10 singles, “Take It Easy” and “Witchy
Woman” off their first album alone. Having major success in the 1970’s with The
Eagles, Henley went on to have a huge solo career. Some of his hit singles
include “Boys of Summer,” “Dirty Laundry,” and “New York Minute.” Henley has
received countless accolades, numerous gold and platinum records and performed
sold-out concert tours worldwide.
Slash: Slash is
long overdue for a performance here at The Paramount. He is best known as the
former lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Back in 2012, Slash
released his second solo album Apocalyptic Love and has received critical
acclaim as a guitarist. That same year he was inducted into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame, along with other members of Guns N' Roses.
Matchbox Twenty: It
has been a year since Matchbox Twenty released their fourth album North. It was
their first album to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Not only
did it reach number one, but it was the band’s first set of all-new material in
a decade. Some of their greatest hits include “She So Mean,” “3 am,” and
“Radio.” Matchbox Twenty a tighter and more collaborative band than ever before
in its 17-year career.
