Summer Sum Up

Summer has officially ended. The temperature has dropped, the kids are back in school, and Starbucks has welcomed back Pumpkin Spice Lattes. As you scroll through your summer album on Facebook and tweets you made at the beach wishing it was summer again, let us join you and reminisce on summer’s hottest concerts.

The legendary Peter Frampton started off the summer with his guitar circus. It was the kickoff to an amazing summer.  Three days later girls waited in line for hours to meet Darren Criss. A few weeks after his performance he lost his friend and costar Cory Monteith.  Fans also said goodbye to Streetlight Manifesto who held their last performance at the Paramount.

The Paramount was sold out for Get The Led Out a Led Zeppelin tribute band. A week later Under the Sun brought back the ‘90s and fans made it rain for Smash Mouth.  Dedicated Blues Brothers’ fans dressed to impress… the Blues Brothers that is. It wasn’t the first concert fans dressed up for; they brought their kilts out for the Dropkick Murphy’s back in June.

Ending the summer on a high note, Pat Benatar originally from Long Island, came home for a one night event. This summer was filled with amazing acts that we hope to have back soon, but just because summer is over doesn’t mean the music has to stop. Check out our upcoming shows like 3OH!3, The Fray, Third Eye Blind and more on our website!

We want to know what bands you’d like to see #ComeBACKToTheParamountNY on Twitter or hit us up on our website!
