The Top 15 Most Shocking Moments On Stage

It’s difficult to make it big in the music industry, but even harder to stay relevant because it all comes down to the survival of the fittest…or maybe just the most outrageous. From Elvis’ gyrating hips to Miley Cyrus grinding on Robin Thicke, here are the top 15 most shocking moments on stage in music history:
  1. The Who drummer, Keith Moon, was replaced by a fan after passing out on stage
  2. Axl Rose stopped midway into a song, jumped into the audience and beat up a fan
  3. Jim Morrison was arrested on stage during The Doors 1967 performance in New Haven, CT
  4. Jimi Hendrix set his guitar on fire during the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967
  5. Fergie peed her pants and later confessed, “I had a few drinks before going onstage, but I didn't think to go to the bathroom.”
  6. Beyoncé getting pulled off stage by a crazed fan during a concert in Brazil
  7. Ozzy Osbourne bit a bat’s head off during a live concert; to his defense he thought it was a fake bat, but we all know what they say about assuming…
  8. Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show…we aren’t buying that it wasn’t planned.
  9. Ashlee Simpson lip syncing on SNL; she panicked and broke out in a strange jig which was embarrassing to watch.
  10. Christina Aguilera/ Britney Spears/ Madonna kiss during the 2003 VMAs
  11. Akon threw a 15-year-old fan onto another spectator who was later diagnosed with a concussion
  12. Yo- I’m really happy for you and I’m gonna let you finish reading, but Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swifts’ speech during the 2009 VMAs led to a very awkward moment.
  13. Alice Cooper threw a live chicken into the audience. He thought chickens could fly…they can’t.
  14. Sinead O’Connor ripped a photo of the pope on SNL
  15. Iggy Pop cut himself accidently and continued with the show
These are just a few of the crazy moments caught on stage, if there’s something you wish to see on the list let us know right here! The Paramount has also seen some intense moments of their own like when the bass player of Gin Blossoms, Bill Leen, stumbled backwards and crashed to the floor, appearing to pass out. You never know when you’ll witness something out of the ordinary at a concert, so make sure to visit The Paramount and experience the performance live!
